Late-century housing stock
Most of the houses we get called to were built between 1977 and 1999, with the bulk of that stock going up in the 1980s and 90s. That matters because it tells you what's on the other side of the door before we even knock: steel sectional doors on torsion springs sized for that era, openers that have usually been swapped out once already, and tracks that have seen three decades of desert sun.
